Addison is 4 months old.

Addison loves her Grandpa, he can always get her to cuddle and fall asleep.
Here are Hailey and Addison in their matching shirts.

She has more hair in this 6 week old picture (below) than she does now (upper).

Here are a couple of pictures of Addison. She is getting so big. She loves to play with her little toys and absolutely loves her bouncer seat. At her 2 month check up (she was actually 2 months and 3 weeks old) she weighed 11 lbs 6 oz. She was in the 50th percentile for her weight and the 75th percentile for her height. She is really long. I still have to take her in for her 4 month visit, I'm running a little late on things. It seems like ever since she was born she is always sticking out her tongue when we are trying to take her picture so here are two similar pictures of her, the bottom one is her at 6 weeks and the next one is about a week ago. I think she had more hair when she was 6 weeks old. Her hair is starting to come in again though and it is looking pretty blond. I am having so much fun because she is getting big enough to get clothes that can match with Hailey. Addison is a really happy baby and she loves to see her brother and sister jumping around. The first time she really totally laughed was when Jackson was doing his Kung Fu.

Happy 5th Birthday to Jackson!

I can't believe that I have a five year old. Today was Jackson's birthday. We like to extend the festivities as much as we can so yesterday we had a party at my parents house. Jack was really excited because my mom baked a cake and she put some Legos on the top, she also had these boxes stacked up with one present in each box. Jack had fun with all of his cousins. Then today for his actual birthday we had a pretty full day as well. He woke up and immidiatley went to find his presents. He is really into Legos right now so he got a set of those as well as a fork lift truck from Costco. We started to put it together, but Hailey and Jack wanted to eat so we took a little break to take care of that. Jackson loves breakfast, it is practically the only meal he really eats, he is always wanting to go to McDonald's for their McGriddle sandwiches. So I had told him awhile back that we could go on his birthday. I had been up late the night before so on the way back I stopped at the gas station for my daily Diet Cherry Pepsi, a little early I know but since I was already out I figured I'd get it then :). Jackson also decided he needed an Icee to top of his breakfast, he really took advantage of it being his birthday. After breakfast he continued playing with his new toys until it was time for preschool. Luckily both he and Hailey had school so I was able to get fully ready, which doesn't happen everyday. Then when they got back it was almost time for his friend party. When we were planning for his party I had told him he could either have a big party at home with all of his friends or pick just a couple and go to the Kangaroo Zoo. He decided to go for the Kangaroo Zoo. I had told him originally that he could have three friends come, because that is how many would fit in our car, but he could not narrow it down quite that far so my mother-in-law came and helped so he could bring a couple more. It ended up being six of his friends and they had a great time. Between when school was over and his party began he could not wait to have his friends come over. He kept asking when everyone was going to get there. He is constantly wanting to play with friends nowadays. Anyway the party was great, it worked out pretty well with the timing of things, we came back to our house after for pizza, presents, and cake. Everyone had a great time. Jackson is growing up so fast. He is such a happy little kid. Even though it seems like he is constantly fighting with Hailey, they miss each other when the other is not around. He is very sensitive to what is going on around him, he is so quick to smile and laugh, even right after he has been crying. He still wants to be a "worker" when he grows up, which includes anything that requires tools or using trucks. He is getting so tall, and he wants to do and have anything that Gabe does. When he gets ready in the morning he has to get his black belt (just like Gabe), cell phone, and keys before he is completely ready. We are so lucky to have Jack in our family .

We are still alive.

I can't believe how long it has been since I have blogged. I have been pretty busy with the three kids and work. I work out of my house processing legal documents for companies and it has been really busy lately. With the way the economy is going there have been a ton of garnishments, so it is taking up a lot of time. The kids seem to fight or need something right when I am on the phone for work. When Jackson and Hailey were little I used to be able to get things done around the house during nap time, but now I just have to catch up on my work when Addison is sleeping. Gabe has been frustrated with me because I will stay up late at night just to have a moment to myself and get things done around the house. Time has been flying by so fast. Here are some things that have happened that I have not blogged about or have happened since the last time I blogged, which I will have to go into more detail later are: Hailey's 3rd Birthday; Cousins came in from all over the world, Thailand and Boston, for visits. This happened earlier in the summer, but I never really wrote about them; Reichert family reunion in Midway and Park City, also happened earlier in the summer; Mine and Gabe's 7th anniversary, can't believe it has been that long; Addison's baby blessing; Addison is now 4 months old; Jackson's 5th birthday. I will try to do a better job of keeping up on my blog and also on cathcing up on the old news.

Hailey's First Day of Dance Class

Hailey just started a dance class for 3 and 4 year olds at our local city center (Hailey will be 3 at the end of the month). I was so excited to get her in her little leotard, tights, and shoes(even though they're a little big). It was so fun for her. The second we got to the class room she started running around the room with a huge smile on her face. I am glad that she is not shy, there was one little girl who would not let her mom put her down. During the class Hailey could not contain her excitement about her new shoes and free space to move around in, so she didn't pay attention as well as she could have. All of the other girls were standing there waiting for the teacher to tell them what to do, but Hailey just kept running around. They had kicked all of the parents out of the room so I just stood behind one of the little windows trying to contain my laughter. For one part of the class the teacher handed out little wands to hold up in the air while they did different steps across the floor but of course Princess Hailey knows what wands are really for and started waving it over all of the little girls heads saying "Bippity Bobpity Boo". By the time class was coming to an end Hailey had started to pay attention so she did some really cute tippy toe steps across the floor and started to get the idea of doing toe points. Hopefully in the future we'll get to the point where she learns actual dances. I would love for dancing to be something that she likes to do and is good at, but for now it is a good time to get some wiggles out and learn a little structure.

Jackson's First Day of Preschool

Jackson was very excited for school this year. He will be going three times a week in the afternoon for two and a half hours. He loves being able to be with other kids and I'm hoping that he'll learn some things as well. He has another year of preschool before kindergarten, because he doesn't turn 5 until November. That's okay though because he is just starting to be interested in coloring and showing any interest in learning letters. His school is right around the corner from our house, so he is so excited to be able to ride his bike to school. When I was talking to Jack about getting ready for school Hailey got all excited because she thought she was going to be able to go to, so when I told her it was just Jack she was so sad. Luckily a couple of the moms that have kids in Jack's school also have kids Hailey's age so we decided to get them together for a little school of their own 2 days a week. I'll only have to teach one week out of the month, so the other weeks I will only have one child at home for 2 hours a day. I won't know what to do with myself. I can't believe how fast my little babies are growing up. ( I like how kids backpacks are bigger than they are:))

Kids Pictures

I love this picture of Gabe and his little princess.

Do you see Hailey's red toenail's? The only way Hailey will let me trim her nails is if I promise to paint her nails.
The kids love to kiss Addison's soft little head.

I am so excited to have these pictures of the kids. I got these pictures taken of them when Addison was 3 weeks old. I was so glad to get the pictures of Addison while she was still so little. My friend that lives behind us is a photographer so I had her do their pictures and they turned out really cute. We took a lot of pictures of Hailey and Addison. We'll have to get Jackson's good individual ones when we do his school pictures, because we got these ones taken two days after he cut his hair. Hailey had a lot of fun getting her pictures taken. She was really good at saying "cheeeese" when we needed her to smile. Her favorite part was when we dressed her in a big fluffy tutu and she danced around in it. I love the ones when Addison is naked, so that you can see just how little she is. I can't believe how many wrinkles she has. I would have liked to get more pictures of Addison sleeping, but of course she wanted to just look around at everything. We also didn't get a great picture of them all together because it sure is hard to get everyone to sit up straight, smile and look at the camera at the same time. I got a dvd full of their pictures so of course I can't post all of them but I'll post a few more of my favorite ones. I am so excited to get many of them printed up so I can have them around my house.

Addison is one month old!

Addison is growing up too quickly. She is starting to get little rolls on her arms and legs. She is still so alert and loves looking around. She really does smile now when you talk to her. Addison is constantly wanting to eat so her binky comes in real handy even though it takes up half of her face. My big plan to have a good sleeper is not going so well she still wakes up a few times at night, although if you ask Gabe he will tell you that she is sleeping so well and hardly wakes up at all:) Hopefully nothing ever goes wrong at night because Gabe would sleep right through it. Addison is such a wonderful addition to our family and we are so blessed to have three little ones, even though I feel a little stressed out at times not being able to get anything around the house accomplished.

Happy Birthday Lori!

Happy Birthday to Grandma Lori, although nobody would believe she is a grandma. All of the grandkids love Grandma and often want her over their own parents, she just can't say no to whatever treat they might want or activity they might want her to do with them. Lori can always be counted on whenever the adults need a Diet Coke (although the kids always manage to get a sip or two out of grandma) or if the kids need an otter-pop. The grandkids love to go over to Grandma's house to play in her backyard, or watch a movie in the trailer or theater room with Grandma. One of Jackson's favorite things about Grandma is her soft skin:) We love you, and hope you have a great day!

Happy Pioneer Day

We had a great 24th of July. We went to the Wilson's house for a BBQ and swimming. The kids had so much fun. I hadn't been able to dress up the kids on the 4th of July because we were in the hospital with Addison so it was fun to get them all ready and do their pictures. Later that night we went to Grandma Lori's house. Their neighbors always do a huge firework show that we love to watch. The kids had such great time.

Gabe swam with Jackson and Hailey. They had so much fun. The kids never wanted to leave.

Jackson's Haircut

So, I go in to check on Jack and he is in his room next to the rocking horse. He looks at me with this very guilty look. That is when I see that he has a pair of scissors and is cutting the horses hair . So I go over there to take the scissors away and I finally really look at Jack. I could not believe what I see. As you can see from the pictures he had cut it all the way down to his scalp. Normally it would not have been that big of a deal, except for that fact that I was getting pictures of the kids taken two days later. I ended up having to buzz his whole head, because there is just no way to blend that in.

TWO WEEKS OLD

Addison is two weeks old. She is still a good baby. We can't really decide who she looks like yet, she is still changing a lot.

Jackson, our little man.

Jackson is almost 5. He is such a fun person to be around. He finds such joy in things. Gabe is glad to have his little man to do things with. Jackson is all boy. He loves to be with Gabe whenever he is working out in the garage. Jackson is constantly wearing his "worker" clothes, which consist of his snow boots, work gloves, work pants, and as many tools as he can get to fit in his tool belt. He also has to take his "worker" things with him wherever he goes, just in case something needs to be fixed. Lately he is expanding his play time to include dressing up like a soldier, a ninja, or a policeman. He loves to ride his bike and wants to be outside all of the time. His favorite thing to eat lately are otter-pops. He would eat a whole package in one day if we let him. He is getting to be so grown up. He still has one more year of preschool because his birthday is not until November, but I will be glad to have him at home for a little bit longer because he is such a good help with his new little sister. He has always loved little babies. Jackson is such a sweet little boy. He has always been sensitive to other peoples feelings and is always trying to make people happy.
